The Invisible People
A story about self acceptance. A young woman growing up in a very tight-knit community becomes increasingly aware of the dangers of her secret, a secret she's been keeping deep inside her. Though she tries to hide it, her destiny prevents her from keeping it completely hidden. Faced with being true to herself and being true to her family, she has to decide which path will define her true destiny.

Growing up can be hard. It's even harder when you're a Hmong woman. Life deals you lemons, you make lemonade. What happens when the people who are supposed to love and care for you turn their backs on you in your time of greatest need? Do you give up trying or do you rise up from your own ashes? Loosely based on a true story, Khang is married to a man who abuses her. When she tries to leave her marriage, her family turns their back on her.
